Ferro Döküm Sanayi ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş., located in the Gebze district of Kocaeli, conducts its activities within its facilities spread over a 65.000 m2 area with an indoor space of 38.500 m2. With a capacity of 80.000 tones/year, it is one of the leading casting plants in Turkey.

Part of the casting sector in Turkey since 1972, Ferro Döküm continues production of nodular iron and gray iron markets in its facilities located in Gebze. With a capacity of production in a wide range of 0,3 kg to 120 kg for automotive, machinery, electricity, and construction industries; Ferro Döküm has increased its capacity to 80.000 tones/year by means of its investments in 1985, 1988, 1992, 1998, 2012, 2014 in line with its growth strategy targets.

Being the first private foundry in Turkey, which produces nodular cast iron, SİMo nodular cast iron, and nodular cast iron in vertical molding line, Ferro Döküm puts forth its ability at pioneering the market and its possession of competent and skilled manpower enriched with an accumulation of knowledge. 80% of Ferro Döküm’s production consists of nodular iron and the rest 20% is grey gray iron.

Operating with an environment-friendly, qualified, and competitive service mentality; Ferro Döküm exports most of its production to the world’s leading automotive and white goods companies in Western European countries and makes a distinguished name for itself by virtue of its qualified production for the leading brands of the world.

Şesan Yedek Parça A.Ş. was established in Istanbul in the 1980’s with the purpose of producing parts for automotive industry. Founding its first factory in 4.Levent, the European side of Istanbul; Şesan then moved to its factory located within a total area of 15,000 m2 at Gebze TOSB (Taysad Organized Industrial Zone – a crucial zone in Turkey’s automotive industry) with the aim of being closer to its major suppliers.

Getting into a partnership with Efesan Group in 2010; Şesan was acquired by Efesan Group with all its shares and rights in 2014.

With a strategical managerial decision taken in 2018, Şesan broke new ground in order to provide a complete solution partnership to its customers by focusing on machining and merged with Efesan Demir Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. Continuing its operations with the title of Efesan Demir San. ve Tic. A.Ş/Çayırova Branch, it also had a revision in terms of brand and took a step towards a new formation with Efesan Machining brand.

Efesan Machining produces a considerably large part of its moulds, apparatus, and fixtures used in production in its own molding room unit with its incorporated wide range of equipment and experienced staff with a high engineering power. With its expert staff and new investments, it has taken crucial steps to be a proper solution partner for its customers and provide better service to them with higher quality.
